- Assistant physician, first on a temporary basis and later in a permanent post, from 1/8/81 to 28/2/90 in the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Division of Piove di Sacco Hospital, headed by Prof. E. Guarda.
- Associate senior hospital physician from 1/3/90 to 31/01/2001 in the Orthopaedics and Traumatology Division of Piove di Sacco Hospital, headed by Dr R. Rosa.
- Senior physician in charge of a complex unit, under an exclusive contract, in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, in a permanent single-employment post, at Chioggia Hospital from 1/2/2001 to 26/6/2005.

- Extensive surgical activity, with a particular focus on arthroscopic knee surgery, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and knee replacement surgery.
- Work in trauma surgery, hip replacement surgery and the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
- Participation in numerous national and international conferences, refresher courses in Italy and abroad, and advanced courses in highly specialised orthopaedic surgery.
- Organiser of, and moderator and speaker at, numerous national courses and conferences.
