Venice reaches out and offers a caress

In today’s frantic world, we miss something essential: a sense of community. Too often, human values and the intangible richness of giving and receiving are pushed into the background, in favour of an almost exclusive focus on material success.

We firmly believe that true wealth is not measured in economic terms alone. There is a wealth of values, relationships and humanity that we want to rediscover and celebrate. In Venice, our city, this essence takes the form of a heritage of “Venetian-ness”: a way of being and of relating to others that puts the individual at the centre, along with their integrity and their ability to contribute to the common good. Surname or social status do not matter; here, people are valued for the path they follow in life, for their honesty and for their ability to overcome challenges.

As Aristotle said, “a body without a soul is a corpse”. For us, Venice is not only a collection of magnificent, splendid palaces, of art and history, but also a beating soul made of values that unite, welcome and inspire. And it is this soul, this deep humanity, that we want to bring back to life through our actions. Hoping it is not too late.

Founded as a non-profit, our mission is simple yet powerful: to create completely free opportunities for joy, fun and sport for children with serious illnesses, with particular attention to children with cancer and terminal illnesses.

We offer our skills, our passion and our enthusiasm to make wishes come true and give unforgettable moments. We want to be a point of reference, an outstretched hand offering a smile and a precious distraction to those facing immense challenges.
